How did you hear about roller derby and the DRD?

I remember seeing a friend post up something about roller derby and I shortly after started skating with Granite City Roller Derby and during that time played against and scrimmed with DRD quite a lot.

What position do you skate in?

I’m a defensive blocker.

What’s the biggest challenge you have faced in your derby time?

Transferring leagues for sure. I was so nervous to start at DRD but everyone was so welcoming and friendly.

Three words to describe Derby to you?

Challenging, competitive, fun.

Favourite thing about derby since you started?

Theres so many things! The people I have met, the places it has taken me, the body positive atmosphere. Love it all.

Do you have any pets?

I have two cats.

Where is your favourite place in the world?

Siam Park in Tenerife. No question about it. I could live there.

Favourite dessert?

Chocolate cake, yum!

Favourite animal?

Otters. They’re so stinking adorable.

Favourite subject at school?

I really liked Art and Design.
